If you are interested in applying for a place at ISP you must follow these steps:
STEP 1 – APPOINTMENT
An appointment with the Head of School is required before making an application. At the appointment we request both parents presence (special circumstances are taken into consideration if one parent is not available).
STEP 2 – INTERVIEW
If you wish to apply for the school, applicants are firstly scheduled for an interview. The nature of the interview varies for different year groups and may require meeting a member of the academic staff. The interview process is designed to ensure that we can met each child individual educational and personal requirements. The interview is also designed to help ascertain whether a child would require specific support.
STEP 3 - MAKE AN APPLICATION
After the interview you may submit an application to International School of Piraeus, with a completed and signed application form with the documents and items listed below. Additional documents may be required as and when necessary. Please note that we are unable to process any application until all required documentation is made available to the school.
The following is International School of Piraeus, Application Criteria:
Application for Admissions are submitted online through the school website
A recent medical health certificate
Two recent colour passport size Photograph of Child
A copy of Child's Birth Certificate
A copy of childs Passport, Identity Card and Visa for non-Greek citizens
A copy of both Parents' Passport or Identity Card (Greek) and Visa (non-Greek)
Most recent year's school report regarding character and ability from the Principal/Class Teacher
STEP 4 - APPLICATION REVIEW
Assessed applications will be reviewed taking into consideration various factors, including the results of the assessment, school reports, Greek and English language ability level, child's behavior and availability of places. The School reserves the right to assign priorities for admission or refuse admission for any reason we deem fit. Where places are insufficient, applicants can remain on a waiting list.
STEP 5 - OFFER OF PLACE
If the application is successful, an offer of place will be made. The acceptance of the offer must be made by paying the applicable fees on or before the stipulated date of offer. If the fees are paid by an employer, kindly produce a Letter of Financial Guarantee from the company and send it to us before the due date.
STEP 6 – ADMISSION
Upon receiving payment or letter of financial guarantee, which confirms an acceptance of offer, you will receive a welcome pack with all the information required for starting the school year.
