Learners
Our students are encouraged to develop independence and to be responsible for their own learning.
To understand the world andto actively participate in it, toacquire an open mind, an international perspective and to respect others in a meaningful way.
Throughout the programme, ISP students develop the attributes of the IB learner profile (open-minded - communicator - inquirer - balanced - risk taker - reflective - thinker - knowledgeable - principled - caring). Through a continuous process of inquiry – based learning, pupils understand basic concepts, develop various skills and attitudes concerning life, take initiative and responsibility for their actions and acquire knowledge, according to the six interdisciplinary themes which are of global importance through six subject fields (Language, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Arts, Physical and Social Education)
All our students learn how to learn and are helped to:
- ask challenging questions
- think critically
- develop research skills proven to help them in higher education
Our programme also encourages students to be active in their communities and to take their learning beyond academic study.
