Programmes and Units of Inquiry
ISP creates an authentic learning environment that encourages our students to be curious, develop their skills and intercultural understanding. Learning around these six transdisciplinary themes, builds knowledge, skills and understandings that inspire our students to contribute responsibly to the world.
ISP teachers develop, around these themes, programmes of inquiries-investigations that require a high level of involvement on the part of the students.
These inquiries are substantial, in-depth and usually last for several weeks. Since these ideas relate to the real world, students see their relevance and connect with it in an engaging and challenging way. Students who learn in this way begin to reflect on their roles and responsibilities as learners and become actively involved with their education.
