Drop Everything and Play

Drop Everything and Play allows the parents of our youngest students to come a enjoy messy play during the month.  As a school we recognize the importance of play to the development of all our students. Play allows our children to inquire into the world around us and make sense of it. It is vital for developing social skills, creative, physical and language development.
This said it is not always easy to find the time and even know how to play with your child. Play sounds so simple but the truth is it is complex and how play is delivered has great impact on each child’s development. Therefore our program is to encourage our parents to drop everything and come into class and play with their child.
