Εvaluation and Assessment

Each IB World School is regularly evaluated to ensure that the standards and practices of its IB programme(s) are being maintained.IB Εvaluation takes place at least once every five years. As part of the process, the school engages in a self-study that is a key element in the school’s continual improvement.

Teacher training and development shouldn’t end with the requirements for authorization - and the continuous professional development of IB teachers is a mandatory requirement that helps ensure the integrity of one of the world’s most forward-thinking educational frameworks.

The IB always encourages schools to make use of the many professional development opportunities that are offered to help teachers stay on track.
